Lynette grew up sailing a homemade dinghy on Lakes with her father in the New England. A keen sailor, Lynnette draws inspiration for her art from years of sailing on Sydney Harbour, off the coast of Sydney and in the Hawkesbury River Basin. She is not only inspired by precious time spent on the water but also uses her art to raise money for sailability and the Manly Yacht Club. This year’s collection of paintings entitled sailing into the Twilight was inspired by sailing Twilight on Sydney harbour.
