Although I grew up in the New England Ranges, far from the sea, I now live on the coast. I am drawn to the way that the water mirrors the colours of our beautiful, resilient native flora and the honey-coloured, weathered sandstone in the Sydney basin. This series is an endeavour to capture cameos of the pools of colour which reflect as they meander and dance on the surface of the water.
